I started this blog because I don’t think the world gets why we need the poor more than they need us. For me, being in a relationship with the poor is a spiritual practice that is critical to my own spiritual growth and transformation. As Executive Director of City House, I see on a daily basis, the mutuality of our volunteers’ relationships with persons on the margins.
